ClipFyn: prepare and export a video

A practical walkthrough for choosing the right frame, processing your clip, and checking the final file before you share it.

Before you start

Use media you own or have permission to edit.

Review the privacy policy before importing sensitive media.

1. Choose your video

  1. •Open ClipFyn and select the source video from your device.
  2. •Confirm the correct clip is selected. Keep the original file until you have checked the export.
  3. •For sensitive media, remember that the exported file may be copied or shared like any other video.

2. Choose the framing mode

  1. •Fill and Crop: fills the destination frame, but may remove the left, right, top, or bottom edges.
  2. •Blur Letterbox: preserves more of the original image by filling unused space with a blurred background.
  3. •Original: keeps the source framing and may leave space around the video in a portrait layout.

3. Preview and process

  1. •Watch the preview from beginning to end when possible.
  2. •Check faces, captions, important text, audio, color, and the safe area around the edges.
  3. •Start processing and keep ClipFyn open until the export finishes. Large or high-resolution videos may take longer.

4. Check the export

  1. •Open the exported file in your gallery or video player.
  2. •Confirm the crop is intentional, the audio is present, and no important content was clipped.
  3. •If the result is not right, return to the framing choice and try another mode before publishing.

Purchases and troubleshooting

Pro purchases and restores are managed through Google Play where available. If processing fails, retry with the original file, ensure your device has sufficient storage, and check that ClipFyn is up to date.
